(Baltimore, MD) — The Ravens are adding a veteran to their backfield before the start of the postseason. According to E-S-P-N, free agent running back Dalvin Cook is signing with Baltimore. Cook went unclaimed on waivers Thursday after being released by the New York Jets on Tuesday. In 15 games for the Jets, Cook carried the ball just 67 times for 214 yards. The 28-year-old was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings and has 6,207 yards and 47 rushing touchdowns across seven seasons. The Ravens have clinched the top seed in the A-F-C and will host the Pittsburgh Steelers in the regular season finale on Saturday.
