10:44 p.m. MPD assisted the Marshall Fire Department in responding to a grease fire on the 100 block of Marvin Schwan Memorial Drive. Investigation is ongoing. 

Sunday, July 16th 

1:46 a.m. MPD responded to a report of a domestic incident on the 600 block of W Marshall Street. Investigation is ongoing. 

11:56 a.m. MPD responded to a report of a burglary on the 300 block of N 4th St. Investigation is ongoing. 

1:07 p.m. MPD responded to a report of a burglary on the 100 block of S 11th St. Investigation is ongoing. 

2:56 p.m. MPD responded to a report of theft of license plates on the 1500 block of East College Drive. Investigation is ongoing. 

8:10 p.m. LCSO performed a traffic stop near the intersection of 130th St and W Hwy 14 near Balaton. A citation was issued to 43-year-old male for driving after revocation. 

Monday, July 17th  

8:30 a.m. MPD responded to the report of a school bus stop arm violation near the intersection of S Saratoga St and Lilac Dr. Investigation is ongoing.  

9:33 a.m. LCSO responded to a report of criminal sexual conduct. Investigation is ongoing. 

12:34 a.m. LCSO responded to a report of domestic incident on the 100 block of E Park St. A report was sent to the county attorney for the consideration of possible charges against a juvenile male for domestic assault.  

8:36 p.m. MPD responded to a report of shoplifting on the 1500 block of Boyer Dr. Investigation is ongoing. 

Tuesday, July 18th 

2:25 p.m. LCSO responded to a report of suspicious activity at the 3400 block of County Road 6. A 44-year-old female was arrested and charged with burglary, theft, and trespassing.  

5:26 p.m. MPD responded to a report of theft in the 1200 block of 1200 E Main St.  

5:28 p.m. MPD responded to a report of a domestic incident at the 300 block of W Main St. A report was sent to the county attorney for consideration of possible charges against a juvenile male for domestic assault, obstructing, and disorderly conduct.  

Wednesday, July 19th 

6:50 a.m. MPD responded to a report of suspicious activity at the 1200 block of Patricia Ct. A report was sent to the city attorney for consideration of possible charges against a 34-year-old male for violating a trespassing order. 

8:07 a.m. LCSO responded to a report of a violation of an order of protection at the 200 block of N Chapman St in Ghent. A 25-year-old male was arrested for violating an order of protection. 

9:29 a.m. LCSO responded to a report of a burglary at the 200 block of N Washington Ave. Investigation is ongoing. 

Thursday, July 20th  

8:50 a.m. LCSO responded to a report of a traffic complaint near the intersection of 190th Ave and State Highway 68 near Ghent. A 38-year-old male was arrested for driving after cancellation. 

4:19 p.m. MPD responded to a report of a hit-and-run accident at the 1400 block of S 4th St. Investigation is ongoing. 

9:31p.m. LCSO responded to a report of a violation of an order for protection at the 100 block of N Lake Ave in Balaton. Investigation is ongoing. 

Friday, July 21st  

8:15 a.m. MPD responded to a report of property damage near the intersection of S Saratoga St and S Hwy 23. Investigation is ongoing. 

8:36 a.m. MPD responded to a report of a domestic incident at the 400 block of W College Dr. A report was sent to Human Services. 

9:39 a.m. MPD performed a welfare check at the 500 block of E Main St. A report was sent to Human Services. 

3:11 p.m. MPD responded to a report of a mental health issue at the 200 block of South A Street. A report was sent to Human Services. 

Saturday, July 22nd 

1:44 a.m. MPD responded to a traffic complaint near the intersection of N Whitney St and E College Dr. An 18-year-old man from Marshall was cited for having no MN driver’s license and no proof of insurance. 

2:29 a.m. MPD responded to a traffic complaint near the intersection of W Main St and E College Dr. A 27-year-old man from Willmar was arrested for DWI and having no driver’s license.
