You’ve probably heard about the planned reboot of “Lizzie McGuire” with Hilary Duff that got cancelled by Disney after filming two episodes.
BuzzFeed put together a list of other planned TV show reboots that got canceled that you might not remember. Here are some highlights:
1. A reboot of “Murder, She Wrote” starring Octavia Spencer.
2. A live action “Powerpuff Girls”.
3. A present-day reboot of “Clueless” with Dionne Davenport as the main character instead of Cher.
4. A relaunch of “The Simple Life”, but instead of Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie, it would follow Kelly Osbourne and Kimberly Stewart. Kelly quit after filming the pilot in 2007 because she said it was demeaning to others.
5. A reboot of “Coach” with the return of Craig T. Nelson, set 18 years after the original series.
6. A “Charlie’s Angels” reboot called “Angels ’88” starring Téa Leoni and Sandra Canning.
7. An “LA Law” revival with the return of Blair Underwood.
