Orlin Jeppesen, age 96, of Canby, MN, passed away Monday, July 6, 2020 at the Sylvan Court Nursing Home in Canby. Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2020 at the Houseman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel, in Canby, MN with Rev. Steve Maas officiating. Visitation will be Saturday one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Canby City Cemetery, Canby, MN.

Orlin Arlo Jeppesen was born February 14, 1924 in Marble Township, Lincoln County, Minnesota to Henry and Edna (Olsen) Jeppesen. He was baptized and confirmed at Marble Lutheran Church and grew up on a farm in Lincoln County. Orlin attended country school District 74. Following his education, he worked on the family farm in Marble Township which his grandparents started.  On June 15, 1954, Orlin was united in marriage to Elna Craigmile. The couple lived and farmed in Marble Township until moving to Canby, MN. In 2005, Elna passed away. Orlin remained in Canby and was united in marriage to Lillian (Shaikoski) Otto on November 12, 2005 in Wilno, MN. They were blessed with 11 years of marriage before Lillian passed away on April 9, 2017. Orlin became a resident at the Sylvan Court Nursing Home in Canby, MN where he passed away on Monday, July 6, 2020 at the age of 96.  He was a member of the Antelope Hills Church. Orlin served on the committee for planning the 100th year Celebration for Marble Township in 1980. He also served on the Canby Depot Committee and enjoyed volunteer work. Orlin loved to listen to old time music, read books and watch the Minnesota Twins on TV.

He is survived by his by two sisters: Darlys Johnson, Mahtomedi, MN and Janice (Ronald) Emmons, Mound, MN; stepchildren: Sue McGrath, Sandford, FL, Kathleen Otto, Brookings, SD, Jerome Otto, Brookings, SD, and Joan Lustfield, Hendricks, MN, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Orlin was preceded in death by his parents; two wives: Elna Jeppesen and Lillian (Otto) Jeppesen; one sister, Bernice Irene Jepppesen; brother, Arvin Jeppesen and wife Caryl; brother-in-law, Harvey Johnson and stepson, Dennis Otto.
