Vehicle owners may also pick up a registration card upon arrival to display in their window and enter for a chance to win prizes. \nIn addition to the showcase of vehicles\, attendees can enjoy live DJ music outdoors during the event\, with music continuing indoors until 11:00 p.m. The August 16 Roll-In will also feature food trucks offering a variety of delicious options: Legacy BBQ\, Lola’s Food Truck\, Jersey’s Food Truck\, and NU Franklin Mobile. DESCRIPTION:  \n \n  \nSpikin’ In the Street – Downtown Sand Volleyball Tournament \nNew Ulm\, MN— Get ready to dig\, spike\, and dive at the third annual New Ulm Spikin’ in the Street Sand Volleyball Tournament – right in the heart of the historic downtown! On August 1-2\, 2025\, the streets of New Ulm will be transformed into a thrilling beach volleyball arena\, where 88 teams from all over the region will compete for glory and bragging rights. This action-packed event is a summer highlight\, bringing together athletes\, sports enthusiasts\, and community members of all ages. Last year we expanded into a second block and added four additional courts\, bringing in 1300 tons of sand (70 dump trucks!) to transform the street! Spectators are welcome (bring your lawn chair)! There will be a DJ all day\, a sandcastle area for kiddos\, food vendors on site\, and commemorative merchandise for sale. Gather your friends and join us for a day of sun-soaked excitement as we celebrate the spirit of sand volleyball in the heart of New Ulm. Mark your calendars and get ready to serve up some serious fun! The tournament will take place all day on Saturday\, August 2nd\, but join the pre-party in the sand on Friday\, August 1st from 5-11pm. \nRegistration is closed\, but the public is invited to enjoy the festivities and cheer on their favorite team. There are 4 divisions (A\, B\, C and Rec) with cash payouts for each division. Pool play will be followed by a single elimination tournament. There will be a DJ all day\, a sandcastle area and bounce house for kiddos\, food vendors on site\, and commemorative merchandise for sale. Gather your friends and join us for a day of sun-soaked excitement as we celebrate the spirit of sand volleyball in the heart of New Ulm. DESCRIPTION:The New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce has recently restarted the young professionals’ group – HYPE (Helping Young Professionals Evolve)!  HYPE helps 21 to 40-year-olds with networking\, professional development\, and building connections in our community. The HYPE program stopped during COVID and restarted just a few months ago. \n\nAnyone between the ages of 21 and 40 who is employed in the New Ulm area\, or employed elsewhere and living in New Ulm\, is invited to attend the HYPE Happy Hour on Thursday\, April 17\, 2025\, 5-7pm at Black Frost Distilling.  There will be a short program\, which will include a networking game with a prize of drink tickets to all participants. This is a free event for anyone interested in joining or learning more about the HYPE initiative.  There will be free pizza provided. Home shows are conventions where businesses are able to exhibit their products to the public and give customers essential insight on goods they may want or need. They also provide a marketplace for the community to connect with local experts to change their daily lives whether it’s with a better living environment\, an easy-fix on a project\, or an overall healthier lifestyle.  New Ulm’s Home Show was first held in 1980 as the Home & Self Improvement Show. The show will take place at the New Ulm Civic Center on March 28-29\, and will feature nearly 100 booths of businesses and vendors who offer services to the New Ulm community. \nWant to talk directly to the suppliers of products and services or show off your top products to your community?  Attend the Home Show in New Ulm! Home shows are conventions where businesses are able to exhibit their products to the public and give customers essential insight on goods they may want or need. They also provide a marketplace for the community to connect with local experts to change their daily lives whether it’s with a better living environment\, an easy-fix on a project\, or an overall healthier lifestyle.  New Ulm’s Home Show was first held in 1980 as the Home & Self Improvement Show.
