Through the help of volunteer blood donors\, patients can be treated immediately when the need arises unexpectedly. Join in and keep the community’s blood supply strong through the rest of the summer.” \nDonors should be at least 17 years old (16 with parental consent)\, weigh at least 110 pounds\, and be in good general health. It’s recommended that donors eat a healthy meal and drink plenty of water before donating.
