LYND — The Lynd Fire Department responded to a report of a garage fire at 10:47 Wednesday evening. Upon arrival, crews observed a detached garage fully engulfed in flames. Fire crews were able to extinguish the blaze in approximately 40 minutes. No injuries were reported. The garage was deemed a total loss, and a neighboring house received some damage from the heat emanating from the fire.
Assistance was provided by the Marshall Fire Department, Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, and Marshall North Ambulance.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
