Lincoln County authorities investigating after a cat was shot with an arrow

LAKE BENTON (KMHL) – Authorities in Lincoln County say they are investigating after someone seriously injured a cat with an arrow.

According to a post on the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Facebook account, police in Lake Benton are now actively investigating the matter. A Facebook post about the incident has been shared more than 16-hundred times.

It is believed the cat survived the attack, but current condition is unknown.

Police are asking anyone with more information to contact the Lake Benton Police Department or the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
