John Moore, age 67, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at his home in Willmar. A celebration of life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Nelson-Hillestad Funeral Home in Redwood Falls. Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Nelson-Hillestad Funeral Home in Redwood Falls. Burial will be at a later date. Arrangements are with Nelson-Hillestad Funeral and Cremation Service of Redwood Falls.
John Victor Moore was born to Victor and Lorna (Guggisberg) Moore on June 19, 1955 in Ortonville. He graduated from Ortonville High School and the Willmar Vo-Tech College. John enjoyed watching the Twins, Vikings, and That 70’s Show. In his free time, John liked to go fishing and carpentry work. He also enjoyed cats, particularly his son’s cat Bella!
John is survived by his son, David Moore of Willmar; and sisters, Pat Fuchs of Nerstrand and Kathy Tolzman of Owatonna; along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry Moore; and brothers-in-law, Bill Tolzman and Mike Fuchs.
