OKABENA (KMHL) – Authorities in Jackson County say a 20-year-old Heron Lake man was killed in a one-vehicle rollover accident early Saturday morning.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s office says Wyatt Henkels was a passenger in a 2001 Chevy Silverado that went into the ditch and rolled.
The vehicle’s driver, 19-year-old Mic Ostgaard of Brewster is facing charges of criminal vehicular homicide and operating a vehicle with negligence – under the influence of alcohol.
