ST. PAUL (LEARFIELD) – Governor Tim Walz said today (Mon) he hopes to make an announcement mid-week on what’s expected to be an extension of his stay-at-home order.

Some criticize how long Walz has left that and some business closures in place.

“If I thought it were healthy and I didn’t think this thing would spread, we would open up every business tomorrow,” Walz said.

The governor says Minnesota is doing well in some areas on the stay-at-home order, but not so well in social distancing in recreation areas.
