[Learfield](St. Paul, MN) — Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys is celebrating a four-point-two-million-dollar gift from philanthropist and novelist MacKenzie Scott. The gift from the ex-wife of Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos is the largest in the council’s history. CEO Tish Bolger says, “over the next decade, this investment in Girl Scouts River Valleys will help provide the resources necessary to serve the complex needs of girls and their families.” She says the board and staff are honored and humbled to accept this extraordinary gift.
