MARIETTA (KMHL) – Four people were injured in a two vehicle accident that occurred in western Lac Qui Parle county Friday afternoon.

The crash was reported at the intersection of Highway 212 and Lac Qui Parle County Road 7 west of Dawson. According to the State Patrol, a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by 23-year-old Alexander Giossi of Big Stone City, South Dakota, was headed south on County Road 7 when it collided with a 2019 Ford pickup driven by a Wisconsin man.

Giossi was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, according to the patrol. 3 others were taken to Johnson Memorial Health Services in Dawson.
