MINNEOTA — Minneota Public Schools is hosting its final Open House and Building Tour tonight, Tuesday, February 4, 2025, to inform the community about the upcoming bond referendum. The event, held in Conference Room #103 at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m., will provide residents with a last opportunity to learn about the proposed school facility and learning environment improvements ahead of the special election on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.

Superintendent Scott Monson emphasized the importance of community engagement, stating, “We want to make sure our community is well-informed about the upcoming referendum. The open houses are a great opportunity for families and community members to see the proposed changes firsthand, ask questions, and engage with the school leadership before the vote.”

The referendum will present two funding questions to voters: the first seeking up to $11,725,000 for facility and learning environment improvements and the second requesting up to $13,090,000 for educational and programming needs.

Community members are encouraged to attend tonight’s session to ask questions and gain a clearer understanding of the referendum. More information is available at bit.ly/minneota-ref25.
