Vesta, MN – The 61st V-esta Day, presented by the Vesta Lions Club, kicks off today with an array of activities for the community. Known for its famous chicken barbecue grilled over the pit, the barbecue will be served at the Vesta Community Center, the former school building, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. For $15, attendees can enjoy a meal that includes half a chicken, potato salad, baked beans, a bun, a pickle, and a beverage. One of the main highlights of the day is the Little Scrapper Pedal Pull. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m., with the event starting at 6:00 p.m. Three-year-olds will receive participation ribbons, while children aged 4 to 11 will compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes, qualifying them for the state pedal pull. Marshall, MN – On Thursday, July 18, Main Street in downtown Marshall will transform into a hub of shopping, food, and fun for the whole family during Crazy Days. From 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the street will be closed to traffic and open for the community to enjoy. Tyler, MN – The Tyler Area Arts Council is set to present the beloved musical “Annie” from Thursday, July 18, through Monday, July 22.
