Brichler received a Quick Support for Artists grant in 2023 to explore the abundant diversity of animals\, plants and fungi throughout Minnesota through the use of wool. \n  \nMeet Kirsten Brichler “My name is Kirsten Brichler\, and I hold two degrees in entomology. Currently\, I serve as an agronomy professor and greenhouse manager. With a lifelong passion for both nature and the arts\, I have sought to merge these interests through my creative work. This project aims to highlight the diverse wildlife of Minnesota — both familiar and lesser-known — using the medium of needle felting with wool.
