All holiday season long view decorated Christmas trees by area families, businesses, non-profit organizations, and service organizations inside at the Lyon County Museum. Vote for your favorite trees, just place money in a box located by each tree. The top 3 organizations/businesses with the most money in their boxes will win the 2023 tree walk. There will be a benefit held for Missy Torgerson November 18th from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. at the Wood Lake Community Center .There will be a DJ playing music alongside soup & sandwiches, as well as baked goods for sale. It will be a free will donation. Missy was diagnosed July 24th, 2023 with invasive high grade bladder cancer, all proceeds from the event will go to Missy to help with her medical expenses.

Toni's Depot in their new location is bringing back their $1 donated for each Burger sold on every Tuesday for the entire month of November as part of Dine Local Help Local. All archers are welcome to sign up for Beaver Creek Archers adult league on November 21st from 6-8 pm. League will start the week of November 26th it runs for 14 weeks.Youth league starts November 8th every Friday night 6-8 for ten weeks.For more information see attached flyer for both leagues.

Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 23rd there will be a free community meal at Grace Life Church in Marshall. Food will be served from 11 am to 1 pm, dine in seating provided. Tracy Community Education and SJMiller Arts presents an opportunity for you if you've ever wanted to learn how to hand build ceramics. You'll learn basic ceramic techniques and vocabulary with this introductory handbuilding class series. The classes will be held at Tracy High School in the Art room Nov. 27th, 28th, & 30th 6-8 pm.
