St. Stephen Lutheran Church Fundraiser

Monday, January 31st from 5-8pm the youth of St. Stephen Lutheran Church will be serving at Pizza Ranch in Marshall to raise funds for their mission trip to Puerto Rico this summer. Come enjoy dinner and visit with the youth about their upcoming mission trip.

A Festival of Woodwinds

The Festival of Woodwinds is a day-long workshop for woodwind players featuring guest artist, Beverly Gibson. The day will include woodwind choir rehearsals, a guest recital, a guest masterclass, and a Finale Concert. The event is open to any and all woodwind players regardless of age or ability level. It is also open to directors and other musicians interested in woodwind performance. Dylan and Alysha Christensen are expecting a baby boy in March. At their 20-week ultrasound they were told their baby has a heart defect called Transposition of the Great Arteries. He will need open heart surgery when he is born, having to see several doctors, specialists, and their cardiologists often. The couple will be driving to Colorado where they will stay in a Ronald McDonald house until the baby is born in the Colorado Children's Hospital, where he will undergo his surgery. SLEEPY EYE SPORTSMAN’S CLUB 40th ANNUAL FISHING Derby to be held SUNDAY FEBRUARY 6TH FROM 12-3 PM on Sleepy Eye Lake. Get there early, registration begins at 9:30 am. 3 cash prizes will be awarded in 6 categories, Sunfish, Crappie, Perch, Bass, Walleye, Northern. Entry fee is $5.00 per person for the contest. Echo Lion Club Sunday BINGO and Lunch

Join the Echo Lions Club for the community event at the Echo Community Center. Sunday, February 13th from 5:30-7:30pm the youth of St. Stephen will be serving a family style Spaghetti Supper at St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Marshall. Free Will Donation with proceeds benefiting youth attending mission trips and camps this summer.

Rock on Ice

Our annual Winter “Rock on Ice” event is scheduled for Saturday, February 19th. Rock on Ice is a fun filled event for students in 8th grade and under. Enjoy a day of ice skating, games, music, and prizes. Rock on Ice will include three sessions of skate time in which all participants must pre-register for a session. If an adult must accompany a child on the ice, they must also pre-register to reserve a spot. The Fee is $10 per person and includes skate rental.
