DESCRIPTION:Bringing the gift of food and cheer to those Lyon County families in need for 3 decades Lyon County Heart to Heart is here to help this holiday season. If you are or know of a family living in Lyon County in need this holiday season have them fill out the registration form below and have it mailed by Nov. 27th to Heart to Heart PO box or Southwest Health and Human Services. \nOnly physical applications will be accepted\, so please print it out and send it in. Registration forms postmarked after Nov. 27th will be served on a first-come-first-serve basis between 1-2 pm on Distribution Day. Distribution Day is December 21st at a new location this year\, SMSU’s lower Conference room/Conference center. \nVolunteers are still needed too! DESCRIPTION:Hendricks\, MN – Community Blood Bank will come together with Hendricks Community Hospital host a community blood drive at Faith Lutheran Brethren Church (501 E. Garfield St) on Monday\, November 25 between 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. To schedule a donation\, log onto cbblifeblood.org\, select “events”\, and November 25\, Hendricks Community Hospital or call Community Blood Bank at 605-331-3222. \nDonors must be at least 17 years old (16 years old with a signed parent consent form found at www.cbblifeblood.org)\, weigh 110 lbs or more and be in good general health the day of the donation. Please bring an I.D. It is recommended that a person eat and drink plenty of fluid prior to donating. \nCommunity Blood Banks is a nonprofit\, cooperative of Sanford and Avera Health. Community Blood Bank is not associated with any other blood bank organization and is the sole blood provider to 38 local area hospitals\, including Hendricks Community Hospital. A person can donate blood every 56 days. When you donate blood with Community Blood Bank your blood stays local for our community patients in need.
