SMSU Theatre season opens with Anne of Green Gables

SMSU 1501 State St., Marshall

The first show of SMSU Theatre’s 52nd season is Anne of Green Gables by Sylvia Ashby, based on the book by L.M. Montgomery. Performances are Nov. 1, 2, 7, 8 and 9 at 7:30 p.m., and Nov. 3 and 10 at 2:00 p.m. Show tickets are $10 and are available at www.SMSUtickets.com and at the door. 11/2/19 from 10am-2pm Free popcorn samples Fundraiser runs through 11/16 Live Lamas at Runnings Purchase Heart Healthy Smude's Sunflower Oil Popcorn and $2 per sale will be donated to the SW MN Lama Club

Holiday Shopping Open House

A Holiday Shopping Open House will be held on Saturday, November 2nd from 10 am to 2 pm at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Redwood Falls, MN. A collection of vendors, including Pampered Chef, Usborne Books, Simply Unique Jewelry, Norwex, Young Living, Tastefully Simple, Leather Arts, and many more will be gathered for a truly one-stop holiday shopping experience. A meal including homemade soups, BBQs, homemade pies, and hot apple cider will be available for a free-will donation. This event is being sponsored by Choices Pregnancy Center of Redwood Falls.

Fall Festival of Song

First Lutheran Church 100 Church St., Marshall

SMSU voice students will present “Fall Festival of Song” on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 2 p.m. at First Lutheran Church in Marshall. Many different styles of music will be performed, including opera, art song, folk music, and musical theatre. The event is free and open to the public. Buffalo Ridge A. B. A. T. E. Chili Feed and Silent Auction

The Buffalo Ridge A. B. A. T. E. chapter is putting on a Chili feed and silent auction to help our chapter and the Tracy Area football program. The chili Feed and Silent Auction will take place on November 2nd at Caboose in Tracy at 5pm. Tommy Rexx will be providing the entertainment for the evening.

Chili Feed and Silent Auction with music provided by Tommy Rexx. A portion of the proceeds are going to help the Tracy Area football program. Tickets are available at the Caboose and Tracy Eagles. $5 in advance or $8 at the door.
