Legislative Candidates Forum – Radio/TV Event
October 21, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Area candidates for the Minnesota Legislature will face off in a virtual forum at 7 PM on Wednesday, October 21st. There will be panels for House and Senate candidates from Districts 16 and 22.
Due to Covid restrictions the event will not be open to the public, but can be followed live on KMHL AM 1400 and Studio One community television. Sponsored by the SMSU Political Science Association and Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce, this is the latest in a series of candidate forums dating to 1992.
Candidates will be asked questions about current state issues by a panel of local journalists.
The public can also submit questions via e-mail to kayleigh.kontz@marshallmn.org by Noon Wednesday.
