Lake Benton Community Fundraiser

Dylan and Alysha Christensen are expecting a baby boy in March. At their 20-week ultrasound they were told their baby has a heart defect called Transposition of the Great Arteries. He will need open heart surgery when he is born, having to see several doctors, specialists, and their cardiologists often. The couple will be driving to Colorado where they will stay in a Ronald McDonald house until the baby is born in the Colorado Children’s Hospital, where he will undergo his surgery. Dylan is the son of Tom and Mona Christensen, grandson of Ray and Gen Sportel and IlaMae Christensen all of Lake Benton.
To support the family, the Lake Benton Lions Club is hosting a Breakfast Fundraiser. They’ll be serving Pancakes, French Toast, Eggs, Sausage, Toast, and Coffee on Sunday, February 6th 8:30 am to 12:30 pm at the Lake Benton Community & Event Center.
