Fall Dementia Education Event – CEU available

Fall Dementia Eventace.redwood@co.redwood.mn.us Registration after October 3 or on the day of event will not guarantee the events lunch meal. Love Always Remembers Presented by Kelly Grosklags 12:30-2:30 pm Kelly Grosklags: Love Always Remembers LICSW/BCD/Fellowship in Grief Counseling Kelly Grosklags – LICSW, BCD, FAAGC, has helped patients, families, caregivers, and clinicians understand and cope with grief, loss, and traumatic illness through her work in palliative care, hospice, emergency rooms, and her private psychotherapy practice over the past 30 years. A Personal Journey as a Lewy Body Dementia Caregiver Presented by: Connie Martin 9:00-9:45 am Advanced Directives Presented by: Clarissa Dumdei and Kari Horvath 9:45-10:45 am Clarissa Dumdei – C-ANP/C-GNP has been specializing in dementia care, seeing patients, and facilitating an outpatient memory care clinic at Avera Marshall since 2017. She also provides patient care at assisted living and memory care communities in Marshall. Kari Horvath – LSW has worked as a healthcare social worker for the past 25 years specializing in hospice, medical social work, long-term care, and mental health. She has worked for Avera since 2015. Advanced Planning Presented by: Greg Holmstrom 10:45-11:45 am Greg Holmstrom is an Attorney at Holmstrom, Kvam and Blackwelder, PLLP in Granite Falls MN, specializing in planning and managing financial and healthcare decisions.
