The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is asking hunters to help track wildlife by reporting what they see in the field this season.
Through an online field log on the DNR’s website, deer hunters can record sightings of deer, turkeys, bears, fish, and other species. The data collected supplements population estimates generated by DNR models, providing valuable insight into wildlife trends and helping guide management decisions.
Reports can be submitted from a mobile device or desktop computer. Details and access to the field log are available on the Minnesota DNR website.
