Demetrius Anthony Moos was born on February 7, 1989, in Minneapolis, MN, to Carl Boswell and Kathie Moos. Demetrius moved to Southwest Minnesota as a child, and spent most of his life in Marshall. He had many hobbies, but his passion was music – listening to it, making it, and sharing it with family, friends, and fans. His proudest accomplishment was being a father. Demetrius was a life-long learner, always educating himself and teaching his friends new words. It was impossible to win an argument against Demetrius, partly because he was so smart, and partly because he was so stubborn. Demetrius had the biggest heart, and he cared deeply about everyone he met.
Demetrius died on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at his residence in Marshall. He is survived by his mother Kathie Jones; children Makynlee, DeZel, and Xavion; siblings Syrrome, Marcell, Maritez, Heaven, Marvia, and Marvellia; 19 nieces and nephews; and countless friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his father Carl Boswell and his uncle Jimmy Moos.
