Debra Balsley, 65, of Morton died Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Zion Lutheran Church in Morton with burial to follow in the Morton City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2020, from 5 until 8 p.m., at Nelson-Hillestad Funeral Home in Redwood Falls and will continue on Wednesday, from 10 until 11 a.m. at the church.  Arrangements are with Nelson-Hillestad Funeral and Cremation Service of Redwood Falls.

Debra June Balsley, the daughter of Earl and Lorene (Blom) Balsley, was born January 15, 1955 in Fairmont, Minnesota. She graduated in 1973 from Morton High School. Debra had worked at Hilltop Supper Club, Jackpot Junction, Morton Cafe and Prairie Community Services.  Debra was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Morton. She enjoyed spending time with her son Anthony and grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading and traveling with Roger.

Debra is survived by her son Anthony Balsley of Morton; sisters, Paulette Thompson of Morton and Dawn (Dean) Maertens of Morton; brother Kevin (Shelly) Balsley of White Bluff, Tennessee; grandchildren Abigail Balsley, Margrette Balsley, Courtney Balsley, Anthony Balsley Jr., Veda Balsley; great-grandchildren Camryn Balsley and special friend Roger Degner of Franklin. She was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Lorene Balsley; brothers Corwin and Michael Balsley.
