Body Found in Montevideo Monday Morning Identified by Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office

MONTEVIDEO – The Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man whose body was found with a stab wound in Montevideo Monday morning. 69-year-old Mitchell Bruce Twite was identified as the deceased man, however his cause of death has not yet been determined. According to Montevideo Police, a postal worker found Twite’s body in a grassy area next to the post office parking lot in the 300 block of 1^st Street.

The Montevideo Police Department says there is no known threat to the public as the active investigation continues. The investigation is being assisted by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
