WATSON (KMHL) – Authorities say alcohol was a factor in a fatal crash that occurred in Watson Wednesday evening just before 6 p.m.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Brittany Schultz, 20, of Appleton, was killed in the crash.
Authorities say she was a passenger in a 1995 Saturn that was driven by 34-year-old Braxton Anderson of New Effington, South Dakota, when the vehicle turned left in front of an oncoming Cadillac Escalade. Anderson also received life threatening injuries in the crash.
A 31-year-old Milan man was driving the Escalade. He was taken to the Montevideo hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
