Mass of Christian Burial for Ardyce Carrow, 92, of Marshall, will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Marshall. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow the service at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Marshall.

Ardyce Mae (Hentges) Carrow was born on August 2, 1929, in St. Leo, MN, to George and Margaret (Brown) Hentges. She grew up in Canby and graduated from Canby High School. Ardyce was united in marriage to Ivan Carrow at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church on July 11, 1949. The couple owned and operated the family business: Carrow’s Cleaners. A loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother, Ardyce was most passionate about her family. She was an excellent cook and hostess and will be fondly remembered by her great-grandchildren as “GGMa.” She enjoyed playing golf and was a member of the Marshall Golf Club, and she loved her ladies day of golf. Ardyce was a longtime member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of America. She enjoyed traveling and wintering in Tuscon, AZ, and she was most famous for her cocktail parties.

Ardyce died on Monday, December 20, 2021, at the Hendricks Nursing Home in Hendricks, MN. She is survived by her children Thomas Carrow of Benicia, CA, James (and Ann) Carrow of Marshall, Steven Carrow (and Chimge Rentsen) of Lake Stevens, WA, Susan (and Thomas) Blanchette of Lusby, MD; grandchildren Benjamin (Nisha) Carrow, Miranda (Eric) Romo, Ta’mora (and Jay) Fuhrmann, Billie Jo Carrow, Jessica Carrow, Charlie Carrow, Lauren Blanchette, Alexandra Blanchette and Ryann Blanchette; great-grandchildren Alex Carrow, Sarah Carrow, Henri Fuhrmann, Harvey Fuhrmann, Zebulan Carrow, Jackson Lovell, Leila Loven and Peyton Blanchette and nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ivan, siblings Marilyn Smith and Robert Hentges.
