Agnes Boe, age 93, of Lynd, Minnesota, died on Saturday, October 31, 2020, at the Minneota Manor Care Center. Memorial Services are pending, to be held at a later date.
Agnes Helvig was born in Island Lake Township, Minnesota, on May 14, 1927, to the late Frank and Ann (Kindler) Helvig. She was baptized as an infant and attended Country School. She then helped her parents on the family farm. Agnes was united in marriage to Irvin Boe. The couple lived in Lynd and Green Valley while raising their child. Irvin preceded her in death. Agnes worked at Swifts Turkey for over 40 years and in her free time, she enjoyed Word Find Books and watching her regular TV programs, The Price is Right and Bonanza.
Agnes is survived by her daughter-in-law, Diane Boe of Lynd; 7 grandchildren, Jonathan Boe of McCook, SD, Kimberly (Chris) Birk of Hastings, Michelle (Mike) Barker of Hanley Falls, Christopher (Cindy) Boe of Lynd, Larry Boe of Lynd, Natasha (Nick) Genzler of Minneota, William “Billy” Boe of Lynd; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. Agnes is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ann Helvig; husband, Irvin; son, Ernest Boe; and several siblings.
