An auction of “Game of Thrones” memorabilia over the weekend brought in more than $21 million.  That included nearly $1.5 million for the Iron Throne.

Actually, I should clarify:  It was a REPLICA of the Iron Throne.  So it wasn’t even used on the actual show.  It was molded from the original screen-used throne.  And somebody was still willing to pay $1.5 million for it.

In addition, one of Jon Snow’s Longclaw swords sold for $400,000 . . . and a hard-rubber version used in action scenes went for $106,000.

Jaime Lannister’s black leather armor went for $275,000 . . . and Arya Stark’s “boy ensemble” fetched $150,000.
