AMIRET (KMHL) – Three people including a 16-year-old boy from Tracy were injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred along U.S. Highway 59 south of Marshall Saturday evening.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the teenager was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Impala that lost control and collided with a 2019 Chevrolet Bolt, driven by 90-year-old Alfred Jessen, of Tracy. Jessen, and a passenger, Laverne Jessen, 85, of Tracy were taken to Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

There is no condition update available on the 16-year-old from Tracy.

Authorities say when the crash occurred Saturday evening the road was snow and ice covered.
