Bus collides with several vehicles in Granite Falls as driver experiences medical emergency

GRANITE FALLS (KMHL) – There were a scary few moments in Granite Falls yesterday afternoon. The Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office says the driver of a Renville County West School bus was experiencing a medical emergency yesterday afternoon along Highway 212 in Granite Falls.

The bus collided with several vehicles along the highway and did not stop. Sheriff’s officials say a deputy was able to slow the bus and a passerby jumped into the bus to put it in park.

The condition of the driver is unknown at this time.
