A's Squeak Past Hanska
On to the baseball field the Marshall A's defeated Hanska last night 2-1, on a ninth inning walk off single from Derek Rignell to score Cody Trumm and win the game for the A's. Jared Pick started the game, he went eight innings, and gave up one run on three hits, while striking out 10. Pick gave up the run in the top of the first inning, after that, he put together seven shutout innings, and didn't allow a hit, but it was Matt Paulsen who pitched a scoreless 9th inning to get the win in relief. Brady Mosenden started for Hanska he was tagged with the loss for the Lakers. The A's travel to Hanska tonight, to see if they can beat the Lakers again tonight. Hanska moved up to Class B after finishing 2009 as State Class Tournament runner ups.
