Conn Leads Great Plains After Day 1
The Dakota Tour Schwan Food/MGC Great Plains Open officially kicked off yesterday at the Marshall Golf Club. Defending Champion Ian Hessels is out of the Dakota Tour this year, and 68-golfers are vying for the championship. Yesterday was the Pro Am portion of the tournament, and after day one Ryan Conn has gotten out in front of the pack. He finished shooting a 6-under Par 65 in Monday's open round. He holds a two stroke lead over Neil Johnson, Eric Johnson, and Drew Dvorak all shot 67's. Conn finished his first round with seven birdies and one bogey.
