Wild drop heartbreaker in NY

The Minnesota Wild suffered a one goal setback last night to the New York Rangers 2-1 in Madison Square Garden. Scott Gomez score the game winning goal just minutes after Marion Gaborik tied the contest early in the second, and Ranger goal-tender Henrik Lundqvist turned away 18 of Minnesota's 19 shots in the contest. For Gaborik, it was just his fourth goal and first since returning from a 38-game absence after hip surgery. Overall the Rangers out-shot Minnesota 30-19. Minnesota takes on the NY Islanders tonight on Long Island.
