Brandon SD Woman Pleads Guilty To Drug Charge
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - A Brandon woman who pleaded not guilty to possessing drugs and supplying them to six minors has changed her plea to guilty on a lesser charge. Forty-seven-year-old Rhonda Stoddard admitted to possessing methamphetamine. Police raided Stoddard's home in February and said they found meth paraphernalia and bags with marijuana. The judge ordered Stoddard to undergo drug testing twice a week until she is sentenced on Sept. 30. Stoddard once publicly advocated for a tougher driving under the influence law in South Dakota, after losing her husband to a drunk driver.
