Accident Injures Two In Yellow Medicine County

The Clarkfield/Boyd Police Department was called to the scene of a crash early Sunday morning. The Yellow Medicine County Sheriff's Department said that they received a call reporting the accident around 12:30. The vehicle was traveling on 10th street south, approaching the intersection of Prairie View Avenue. Authorities say 36-year old Jason Lee of Milan was driving the vehicle, which they say was unable to negotiate a curve. Lee and passenger 33-year old Melinda Hedman of Clarkfield received major injuries in the crash. The Yellow Medicine County authorities say that speed and alcohol are being investigated, and that charges may be pending following further investigtion.
